Kate has designed and launched dozens of social media, document management, and collaboration platforms.

Kate has published in the Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, Huffington Post, Ivey Business Journal, NASA Ask Magazine, Journal of Digital Media Management, and The Review of Economics and Statistics. She has also published two Ark Group chapters on knowledge strategy and leadership. He also co-authored The e-Process Edge (McGraw Hill 2000) and Architecting the Enterprise (TU Delft 2005). McDonald has authored numerous articles and studies on the application of technology to create business value.

McDonald is a Group Vice President and Gartner Fellow at Gartner Inc., a leading technology research and advisory firm, where he has authored multi-client studies on issues ranging from the annual CIO agenda to the application of social media and digital resources to business. Prior to joining Gartner, McDonald was a partner with Accenture where he was responsible for the Centre for Process Excellence. Prior to those responsibilities, McDonald was a release manager and solutions developer for Accenture.

McDonald is an active business educator and he has led classes and lectured at Oxford Said Business School’s CIO academy, University of Chicago, University of Wisconsin Madison –Grainger Business School, MIT/Sloan School, Illinois Institute of Technology, and Loyola University Chicago. He is Gartner’s patron at MIT/Sloan School’s Center for Information Systems Research (CISR).
 
McDonald graduated from Colgate University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics. Ralph’s information technology experience includes leadership of bespoke software development projects and configuration of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) packages with primary emphasis on delivering enterprise search, knowledge management, business process redesign, text analysis, text mining, and auto-categorization functionality to improve the findabiltiy of content. To ensure management has the information required to manage its business, he delivers business intelligence applications, dashboards, and data visualization technologies. Ralph combines process transformation and innovative change management techniques to ensure successful client adoption of technology change. His work in knowledge management, metadata management, and executive education has been documented in the Harvard Business Review, CIO, Fortune, and Harvard Business School. He speaks and writes regularly on these topics.

Ralph is an Adjunct Professor in Columbia University’s Information and Knowledge Strategy graduate program where he teaches IKNS 4302 Findability and Innovation. The course focuses on implementing enterprise findability solutions and building innovative business models that use metadata to create business value.</Description></Stakeholder><Stakeholder><Name>Jeanne Harris</Name><Description>Jeanne Harris is Global Managing Director of Information Technology Research at the Accenture Institute for High Performance in Chicago. She leads the Institute’s global research agenda in the areas of information, technology, and analytics.

During her more than 30 years at Accenture, Harris has led various consulting practices, including business intelligence, analytics, and data warehousing. In 2009, she received Consulting Magazine’s Women Leaders in Consulting award for Lifetime Achievement.

She is the co-author of Competing on Analytics: The New Science of Winning (2007), which explains how high-performance businesses are building competitive strategies around data-driven insights that are generating impressive business results. Harvard Business Review editors named the book one of the top breakthrough ideas of the 21st Century. Her latest book (with co-authors Tom Davenport and Bob Morison), Analytics at Work: Smarter Decisions, Better Results (2010), shows how organizations can create an analytical capability that enables them to routinely make better decisions in every aspect of their business.

Harris also serves on the INFORMS Analytics Certification Board, which oversees the new Certified Analytics Professional program.

Dr. Hoffman is a frequent speaker at conferences and associations and has written numerous journal articles. He serves as faculty at Columbia University in the Information and Knowledge Strategy program, where he designed and teaches Building Knowledge Services for Organizations. He is also faculty at The George Washington University Project Management Program where he has designed and teaches Organization, Management and Leadership.

He serves on many international efforts; he is the Chair of the International Project Management Committee (International Astronautical Federation), the International Knowledge Management Community, Project Management Institute Global Executive Council, and the Federal KM Committee and Space Education and Outreach Committee. He holds a Doctorate as well as Master of Arts and Master of Science degrees from Columbia University in the area of social and organizational psychology. For IKNS, Dr. Hoffman teaches IKNS 4337 Building Effective Knowledge Services.</Description></Stakeholder><Stakeholder><Name>Guy St. Clair</Name><Description>In addition to his role as Lecturer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) at the Columbia University M.S. in Information and Knowledge Strategy Program, Guy St. Clair is the President and Consulting Specialist for Knowledge Services for SMR, a management consulting practice in New York City. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia (A.B., Liberal Arts) and the University of Illinois (M.S. - Library and Information Science), and in 2000 he was named as a University of Illinois Graduate School of Information Studies Distinguished Alumnus. From 1991 to 1992, he was President of the Special Libraries Association (SLA) and in 2010 he was named to SLA's Hall of Fame. He also served as a member of University of North Carolina School of Information and Library Science Board of Visitors from 2006 to 2011.


Among other recognitions, St Clair was the Delegate Leader 1996 for the Information and Knowledge Management Delegation to South Africa sponsored by the Citizen Ambassador Program ("People-to-People"). In Germany in 2004, the Checkpoint Charlie Foundation presented St. Clair with the John Jacob Astor Award, presented annually to recognize a single individual, American or German, who has contributed significantly to the exchange of knowledge between Europe and America.


St. Clair has written or co-authored sixteen books, including Beyond Degrees: Professional Learning for Knowledge Services (New York and Munich: K.G. Saur, 2003), Change Management in Action: Industry Leaders Describe How They Manage Change in Information Services (Washington, DC: Special Libraries Association, 1999), and a variety of other titles relating to information management, knowledge management, and strategic learning. He is also the author of numerous articles about knowledge services and knowledge strategy, many of which can be accessed at SMRShare.


St. Clair has also authored two organizational histories: A Venerable and Cherished Institution: The University Club of New York, 1865-1990 (New York, NY: The University Club, 1991) and SLA at 100: From "Putting Knowledge to Work"® to Building the Knowledge Culture: The Special Libraries Association 1909-2009 (Alexandria VA: Special Libraries Association, 2009). Her practice includes the design and implementation of protocols for the preservation and collection of data for discovery and the execution of data management and disposition recommendations. Anne also vets data search and review technologies, educates outside counsel on electronic discovery issues, manages vendor selection, and conducts benchmarking surveys for legislative and judicial consideration.

Anne Kershaw has been involved with high tech litigation management since 1993, taking management roles on national coordinating and trial counsel teams defending volume, multi-state, product liability claims. Ms. Kershaw is also co-founder of the non-profit E-Discovery Institute, where she served as President from 2006-2012. In addition, Ms. Kershaw is a Faculty Member of Columbia University's Executive Master of Science in Information and Knowledge Strategy, was a faculty member of Georgetown University’s E-Discovery Academy and is currently an Advisory Board Member of Georgetown University Law Center's Advanced E-Discovery Institute, the non-profit Corporate Knowledge Strategies (CKS) group, and the Suffolk/Flaherty Legal Tech Audit: Law School Edition. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Data Law Initiative at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Ms. Kershaw is a frequent lecturer and in March 2007, she joined Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer and Harvard Law Professor Arthur Miller at Georgetown’s Thought Leadership Summit. In 2010, 2011 and 2014 she conducted workshops on electronic discovery at the Federal Judicial Center’s conferences for U.S. Magistrate Judges. He is the author of two books, Intellectual Capital: The New Wealth of Organizations and The Wealth of Knowledge: Intellectual Capital and the Twenty-first Century Organization, published by Doubleday Currency in 1998 and 2003, respectively. He has contributed chapters to four other books and published articles in Harvard Business Review, Fortune, Business 2.0., the Financial Times, BNET, and elsewhere.
